New Hardware In Full Effect

Met up with Aaron and his 2006 Subaru STi this morning :) Snapped some quick pics of the mounting hardware of the front mudflaps as well as a quick shot of the rears (pictured below).

The installation was smooth and the hardware worked great! It was actually the first time I was present while the FLAPATAX hardware was being used, so I was quite pleased with the process and the overall look of it.

Hopefully we'll be able to get some Flapatax on Aaron's brother's Subaru Legacy this weekend!

Maryland Bound

Shipped off the first set of FLAPATAX to the East coast on Tuesday thanks to Michael and his 2003 Subaru WRX :) I can't wait to see photos and ask about his installation experience using our hardware!

Less Dirty, More Fun?

Before the guys headed out for a day of romping around in the dirt, I was able to meet up with them to snap a few cold photos and address the concerns of one of the Foz guys.

After some parking lot fun, I was able to talk with Alex about his rear mudflaps and address the concerns he had as far as mounting and being able to use his old mudflaps hardware. I understood that it wasn't necessarily the FLAPATAX design, but that he wanted to be able to use the 3 mounting spots his old mudflaps used as opposed to the 2 mounting spots that FLAPATAX uses. All in all the Foresters are ready to go and the FLAPATAX mudflaps looked stellar out @ Dugway!

Flapatax Friday...

or so it felt like :) Pushed out 4 sets yesterday, slept for about 2hrs, went to see the spazz play, drove up to Davis County and was in bed by 2am. Quite the way to start a weekend.

The application on the GC and wagon went smoothly, they got them mocked up and were good to go when I left to meet with Andy and his Foz.

2 of the 4 sets yesterday were for Subaru Foresters, which has proved to be a bit of a challenge but I don't see it being "unfixable". The fronts needed some modifying - which I'll see today - and I was told by the other Foz owner that his rear mudflaps weren't working - which I'll also be looking at today.

Another FLAPATAX adventure kicks off this morning @ RMR. More pics to come...

and a more informed inspection of the mudflap design for the Foresters.
